Each love story tells of a different kind of love. But if you are having a destination wedding, then KNOW that your event will be one to remember!

By deciding to say “I do” in a setting that’s removed from your everyday experience, you have automatically set the stage for a celebration that feels like a vacation for everyone involved… including you! Have confidence in the fact that your wedding will be remembered as a one-of-a-kind event. Here are 10 things to remember when thinking about a destination wedding!
10. Get legally married in your country. Some countries vary with marriage licenses. You should not be bombarded with legal matters when returning from your amazing destination wedding!
9. Retain a stylist for the days of the celebration. This stylist will need to know about the destination you are traveling to. Your stylist will help you look special all throughout the days spent away from home. Most importantly, they will help you find the perfect wedding dress for your day for your chosen destination.
8. Save time and trust your planner!! First, ensure that your planner is one that you can trust. Your planner is the expert in the destination. Stop overthinking details when you are paying a team to do so.
7. Have your planner recommend a local small token to welcome guests. The small gesture allows your friends and family to know that you appreciate them leaving home to celebrate your love.
6. Do activities at your destination. Make the trip worth it!!
5. Hire a videographer for each day of activities to capture your experiences. Time is something we never get back, why not freeze time with videos.
4. Try REAL local cuisine AFTER the day of the wedding. Enough said!
3. Provide as much information as possible – airport codes, room blocks, modes of transportation available at your destination – on your save-the-date cards so that guests can request vacation time and make necessary travel arrangements sooner rather than later.
2. Don't forget to scope out local talent. Although you might want to consider flying your favorite band to your location, a set of steel drums or music from a local band can instill an atmosphere of authentic flavor to your welcome party, rehearsal dinner, or wedding day.
HAVE FUN!
